Georgian Winemaking
Regions
If making wine is an art form, then grapes are colours on a maker’s palette. They bring depth , richness and dimension to the wine. With just over 500 grape varieties native to Georgia, the possibilities are endless. The most noteworthy strains include Saperavi from reds and Rkatsiteli from whites, both endemic to the region of Kakheti
There’s a legend that God himself, disarmed by Georgians’ sincere, irresistible charm, gave up the land he was keeping for himself. With its abundance of grape varieties,
impeccable climate conditions and a whole bounty of inspiration to top it all off, it is no accident that every Georgian is, at heart, a winemaker.

01.Methodology
Qvevri is an egg-shaped vessel used for fermentation, ageing and storage of traditional Georgian wine. At a glance, the recipe is pretty straightforward: you bury a Qvevri underground, place your grapes inside and leave them to transform. The rest is magic, meticulously executed.

O2.Why Qvevri?
Subterranean climate maintains Qvevri stable 13-15°C, creating a perfect, nurturing environment for wine to be born. Qvevri wines are characterized by a unique enzymatic profile and complex, unexampled taste.
03.National Pride.
Deep down, every Georgian is a poet. A glass of Rqatsiteli only helps you believe it.
