Teliani Valley success at IWC 2021

The International Wine Challenge, the world’s most influential, impartial and rigorously judged wine competition, has announced the winners of its 2021 competition, with medals being awarded to wine-producing countries across the globe. Thousands of wines from over 50 countries were judged by a panel of international wine experts in a rigorous two-week blind tasting, run under Covid safe measures, in London, this April.

"Teliani Valley" wines presented at "International Wine Challenge 2021" received great reviews and won 5 silver and 6 bronze medals.

Award winning wines with high points and silver medals: Teliani Valley Cabernet-Saperavi 2019, Saperavi 2020 and Kakhuri N8 2019 from Teliani Valley Winery97 special series. Kisi Qvevri 2019 and Khashmi Saperavi Qvevri 2019 were chosen from Glekhuri Qvevri wines.

In its 38th year, the International Wine Challenge is accepted as the world’s most rigorous, impartial and influential wine competition. Teliani Valley has been awarded a Best in Show medal in the Decanter World Wine Awards 2020
