Teliani Valley Winery participated in Boutinot’s Spring Portfolio Tastings, held from March 1–11 in London and Manchester, presenting a specially selected portfolio of its wines.

Boutinot, a leading wine importer and distributor in the UK, is actively engaged in import, distribution, and wine brand development. The company places particular emphasis on the on-trade sector - including restaurants, bars, and hotels and tailors its portfolio to meet the needs of hospitality professionals and the preferences of consumers. It’s woth to mention Teliani Valley Winery has been an official Boutinot partner since 2020.

The Spring Portfolio Tastings are Boutinot’s premier annual event, showcasing wines from traditional European regions such as France, Italy, and Spain, as well as from New World and emerging wine regions, including Georgia. The tastings provide wineries with a valuable opportunity to gain insight into the UK market, establish professional relationships, and engage with sommeliers, buyers, distributors, bar and restaurant managers, and other key figures in the wine industry.

In recent years, interest in Georgian wines has grown significantly in the UK. Georgian wines are increasingly appreciated for their distinctive grape varieties, qvevri wines, authenticity, and centuries-old winemaking traditions. Strengthening the presence of Georgian wines in the awareness of UK wine professionals creates considerable commercial opportunities and reinforces the international standing of Georgian wines - a mission in which Teliani Valley Winery continues to play a leading role.

Teliani Valley has been awarded a Best in Show medal in the Decanter World Wine Awards 2020
