For the first time in Georgia, barrel production took start
Presentation of barrel producing company Kupa took place on 30th of September, on the premises of Teliani Valley factory in Telavi. Until now large producers of wines and spirits exported expensive oaks from Europe. At first stage 100 barrels of various sizes will be produced in new, Georgian factory. Initially products will be sold on Georgian market. Wooden material needed to produce barrels is exported from France.
Teliani Valley came to the idea to establish a company after company director, Archil Gegenava financed one of the projects in TV show “Idea, Money and One Chance”.
The presentation of barrel producing company was held in the framework of wine festival. Invited journalists attended the presentation.
