“Teliani Valley” are delighted to announce that they have won a Silver award in the 2014 International Wine and Spirit Competition (IWSC) for Tsolikouri 2013 Mukuzani 2010 and Bronze award for Kisi-Mtsvane Glekhuri 2013; Kisiskhevis Saperavi Glekhuri 2013, Kindzmarauli Red Semi-sweet 2012, Tsinandali 2012.
The awards given by the competition are believed to be among some of the highest honours in the industry. Judging for the Competition is unique in that it has two stages; first, the products are tasted blind by expert panels, selected from over 300 fully experienced and qualified industry judges. Then, products are subject to technical analysis before results are released; this crucial stage ensures winners receive complete validation.
Winning those medals is very important for all wine producers. The International Wine and Spirit Competition is the premier competition of its kind in the world. Its aim is to promote the quality and excellence of the world's best wines, spirits and liqueurs.
About International Wine and Spirit Competition (IWSC) Established in 1969, The International Wine & Spirit Competition (IWSC) was the first competition of its kind, set up to seek out, reward and promote the world’s best wines, spirits and liqueurs. What sets the IWSC apart is the formidable reputation of its judging process.
