Mukuzani – Best Taste

Again, Teliani Valley’s red dry wine Mukuzani is leading the list of winners of International Wines and Spirits Competition. In the international competition, which took place in London several days ago, competent jury awarded Mukuzani with bronze medal.

In addition, second wine, Saperavi, presented by Teliani Valley, gained bronze medal also. Other competitions, held in London, were also successful for Teliani Valley. In the competition ”International Wine Challenge” Mukuzani and Tsinandali of 2006 gained silver medals. Special certificates were given to Tsolikauri and Cabernet-Saperavi of 2007.

London again. This time international wines and spirits competition, DECANTER, which was held in April. With the decision of competent jury, Teliani Valley’s Chardonnay-Kratsiteli of 2008 and Tsinandali of 2007 were awarded with bronze medal and Saperavi of 2007 gained special certificate. Traditionally, leading producers of wines and spirits of the world participate in this prestigious competition. These companies are presented in the competition according to how long have they been producing wine.

According to the rules of international wines and spirits competitions, wine companies choose themselves type of products to be presented in the competition. It is notable, that every wine, presented by Teliani Valley in all competition held in 2010, gained significant acknowledgement and as a result competent jury awarded various types of bottled wine with medals and special certificates.

World’s leading magazine, Wine Spectator writes about exquisite taste of Mukuzani. It says that Teliani Valley’s wine Mukuzani is a new discovery of old region and gives highest evaluation to the wine. 15 000 wines of world’s various wine-producers were presented at the competition. The scores range from 85 to 88. Teliani Valley’s Mukuzani was given highest score, 88.

Mukuzani is also a winner brand of Georgian competition. On the third national wine competition, sommeliers were specially invited from abroad. Mukuzani gained gold medal and red dry wine Cabernet-Saperavi and Saperavi were given silver medals. Teliani Valley presented five wines in the competition. With the decision of competent jury, each wine gained respective evaluation. This year 33 producers of Georgian wine participated in the competition and 161 types of wine were presented.
